Why is it ok for Dom's to have several subs but somewhat frowned upon for a sub to have several Dom's?

Why is there only one steering wheel in a car? Because only one can direct and guide and that one has to be responsible for the result of the direction and guidance and therefore held accountable to those they are guiding. When multiple people are trying to guide then you end up with conflicting directions and displaced responsibility and as a result no accountability. This is why leaders are few and followers are many.
