What kind of tie did you use in this picture and how long did it take?

The tie I used was an Ebi and it took between 15 and 20 minutes. I think that it would have gone faster but the Ebi was compressing my sub’s diaphragm [which is one of the many dangers inherent to bondage] and I adjusted the tie to ease her breathing.

About the Ebi

An Ebi, also called a shrimp tie, was invented by the Japanese over 300 years ago as a torture and interrogation technique. Not only does the Ebi when held long enough cause burning in the body due to the fact that the subjects torso is bound and compressed to their legs, it also makes it very difficult to breathe. This progressive labored breathing can result in a condition called “Positional Asphyxiation”.

Hazards of using Ebi

Positional asphyxia, also known as postural asphyxia, is a form of asphyxia which occurs when someone's position prevents them from breathing adequately. The Victoria Police Department has some great information that they have compiled for
their police department. (To download your copy

(To lock the subs legs in place I used a Bokken or wooden training
sword that was given to me by Porn Star and Professional Villain
Tim Woodman.)
Along with all the other possible dangers that we have to worry about when doing rope bondage, this potentially deadly consequence has to be at the forefront of our minds when doing these advanced ties.

Safety through education

So before you start tying up your special someone, make sure that you take a few classes and learn all the ins and outs associated with this erotic art form. Remember, protection during sex doesn't stop at a padded head board and a condom. It’s being educated enough to know when your desires are over riding your knowledge, skill, ability and commonsense.

If you are interested in bondage classes in Los Angeles you might want to attend some of Miss Cassie’s Rope classes which are held at Sanctuary Studios LAX on 2nd Saturdays and 4th Tuesdays. While there is a nominal fee (which is made up for in snacks, fun and education) what you will take away from this class will give you pleasure for years to come.
