How important is fluid bonding in polyamory ?

I think that fluid bonding is a very important component in a healthy, sexual, committed relationship.

Not only does fluid bonding bring people closer together emotionally it also helps us connect Neuro-chemically. "The hormone (Oxytocin and Vasopressin..) is released during (and after) sex, and the resulting bliss seems to forge a bond between male and female." Being fluid bonded changes allot. Not only does it change your body chemistry it also changes your levels of attachment to the person you are with.

To me fluid bonding is one of the stepping stones needed to achieve a higher form of commitment in a dynamic because it requires trust, fidelity and commitment.  And that's not easy but its a necessary part of growing together as a couple. (FYI... You know I would love to see an article on same sex fluid bonding. )
